Breathwork brings us into the present moment, helping us transcend the mind and cultivate clarity and self-awareness. Many of us have been conditioned to breathe shallowly, using only 20-30% of our lung capacity. This chest-based breathing contributes to chronic stress, anxiety, and a constant state of fight or flight. By learning to breathe deeply into our abdomen and fully utilizing our lung capacity, we can begin to move stagnant energy and release toxins.

In fact, approximately 70% of the toxins in our bodies are expelled through our breath. Proper oxygenation supports the circulatory, lymphatic, immune, and nervous systems, while also nourishing the brain, which requires about 20% of our oxygen supply.
